Plum & Prints

I am a true fan of short attire, but this plum maxi skirt stole my heart before I could even try to object. The freedom and whimsical feel that come along with it are just an added extra, and it’s a high waist skirt – what more could I possibly ask for (I’m dramatic I know).

Decided to switch it up a little today and post two looks, of which the main focal is the burgundy maxi skirt.

The first look is the skirt paired with a simple denim top, and a leopard printed scarf which I converted into a head band. I wore gold and plum accessories and a dark shade of purple/plum lipstick to complete the look. Decided to keep it simple and went with flat sandals, I prefer them over heels when wearing long clothing items. To complete the look, I went for the leather clutch and shades.

The second look is the skirt paired with a white crop top, which I like just a quarter inch more than the first look. What I like the most is the thick golden neck piece, which somehow adds a Grecian twist to it. Accessorised with gold studs and bangles, I chose this pastel bag to bring everything into completion.

Hopefully my new found love for maxi skirts was elaborated well – Good night angels. J
